The UK personal tax return filing deadline is nearly upon us – it is just one month away – 31 January 2019.
A survey by ‘Which?’ has shown that it is now taking people roughly an hour more compared with last year to complete their annual tax return – it is taking people an average of 3.5 hours in total.
More than 10,000 people filed their annual tax returns on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. It appears that the current trend is to not wait until the last minute before filing the annual tax returns, possibly due to the increased time that it is taking to complete them.
